Rule 50
Arrangements for late charges (demurrage)
(1) Demurrage shall not be charged for seven days from the date of entry of the goods in the customs warehouse operated by the customs office.
(2) If the goods are not cleared within the period specified in sub-rule (1), a demurrage fee will be charged from the eighth day at a rate not exceeding the customs value of the goods as per schedule-9.
